Hold vertically, the Japanese way, pulling the tool towards the body, with the bottom of the blade held by the left hand small finger base. Tilt the flat blade like a rudder with the right hand to change the angle of the cut for the finest cutting control.
Good quality hardened steel nib-type lino cutters that fit into a steel chuck and can be quickly locked in. The plastic handles are hollow and can be used to store cutters when not in use. Both handles and nibs may be purchased individually.
